Romeo and Juliet Love Essay Would someone ever betray their family for the person they love? Well in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare appears as a well-known plot with a twist ending on account of forbidden love. Two teenagers who come from different feuding families fall into love at first sight which always existed as forbidden since the families have hated each other since the beginning of time. The love comes off as so strong and powerful; it ends up killing them both with wrong information passed along. Since the strong feelings for one another lead to death, the love will always remain true and will always exist there. If those chanced forbidden love with someone, they would only stay together if it truly existed. In the heartwarming story of two teenagers falling in love and dying for each other in a matter of five days, it shows definite true love. In the play, it does not come off as â€Å"puppy love† but true love. Romeo and Juliet meet, get married, and die for each other. Romeo says â€Å"Did my heart love ‘til now? Forswear its sight. For I never saw true beauty ‘til this night,† showing his strong feeling and emotion. When the reader reads this quote said by Romeo, they would think of Romeo’s old loves such as Rosaline and think how he yearned for her, yet how Juliet has popping appearance and comes off as more valuable. Real love only comes around once, and when Romeo says this, he proves that she happens to be his one love, and he appeared dumb struck and blind until he saw her. Juliet says, â€Å"’Tis but thy name that is my enemy, thou art thyself though not a Montague. What is Montague? It is nor hand, not foot, nor arm, nor face, nor any part belonging to a man. Oh, what’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other word would smell as sweet; so Romeo would, were not Romeo called, retain that dear perfection to which he owes without that title. † The reader thinks that the love will not work since forbidden and wrong, but the name of you does not change who you will always live with as yourself and it should not change your rights. When Juliet says this and states it does not matter if what she did will be accepted as wrong, it shows she will do anything for Romeo which shows true love. Romeo chanced many loves, desperately, but states Juliet as the most worthy, and she also says it does not matter whether you take part in the life of a Montague or Capulet; love will be love and should not have rules or regulations. The way Shakespeare portrays the thoughts and words of Romeo and Juliet; you know it comes from the heart and that it shows love. â€Å"Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I shall say good night ‘til it be morrow,† says Juliet after they both share their love for each other. When the reader sees this they think that it will not grow long until they will be seen again but it will show a painful while for them. It shows love because when love exists between someone, they want to spend all of their time with eachother, not away from them. â€Å"O my love, my wife! Death, that hath suck’d the honey of thy breath hath had no power yet upon thy beauty,† says Romeo. After reading this, it comes to know Juliet fakes the death and that she will awake soon while Romeo thinks she will never awake, and she will stay in eternal sleep. Romeo states that even though the life has been sucked out of her, her beauty remains and it shows love. If it were lust he would not depress over it. When there is marriage and death for someone in just five days, love exists and you cannot fall for someone so quickly without feelings. To show and share love, marry, and die for someone that shares the same affections of love, true love exists and there will always live strong feelings between them. Juliet can barely go a night without seeing Romeo. Even though Romeo thought he loved before, he swears that the only person he happened to love could be Juliet, and that all his other lost relationships showed to exist as nothing but maybe lust. Romeo also states that nothing can change Juliet’s beauty. Juliet says it does not matter which family you happen to stay a part of, and as long as you love someone, it should be allowed. Loving someone involves dedicating your life to them. Romeo and Juliet do dedicate their lives and die so they will not exist with fraught with misery without their eternal love.

Computer Changes and their Impact on Management The world of computers is a field that is not only very young, but is also rapidly changing. In one lifetime, computers have evolved from a multimillion dollar unit that filled entire buildings, to a few hundred dollar personal computer that fits on a desktop with more power than its predecessor. How does this change in cost, size and power affect our management decisions? To look at these areas, it should be understood that each characteristic not only makes a significant impact for management, but is enhanced by the other two changes.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The reduction in computer costs over time has the obvious implications of reduced overhead costs for a company’s management and possibly a smaller budget requirement for the information technologies department. Closer inspection of the lower computer costs shows that the reduced overhead can have a number of implications dependant on management decisions. One decision would be to show an increased profit on the end product’s margins. This makes stockholders very happy. Management could also decide to provide more computer technology for the company without an increase in budget, or provide hardware with less compromise in functionality. The additional money could be used for additional specialty computer hardware that would not normally be purchased. A company would have to research whether the increase in computer technology would be able to provide the necessary competitive advantages or productivity increases. Management might also decide to take an exhaustive look at the entire company and its business process’ to determine if other areas might use the money for upgrades as well. These upgrades can be in the manufacturing process, research and development, sales, or in manufacturing to name a few. The reduction in cost also impacts the reduction in size of the computer hardware which has been getting smaller and smaller. As the prices of computers have gone down, the manufacturers have been able to reduce the size of the computers dramatically at the same time. Management originally provided a computer that was very large with terminals provided to the user as an interface. Today we have a personal computer on almost every desk top. These units require less space allowing management the freedom to determine whether they wish to put a unit on every desktop. With the smaller space requirements and the changes in the hardware itself, management also has less impact to their facility requirements.

Abstract This paper is a view on how to approach the CEO, directors and managers of a potential defective product. It will provide insight on the process of identifying the product, potential recall and the responsibility to notify the consumer. A Corporations Social Responsibility to Stakeholders Introduction One of the many things a manufacturing company has to worry about is producing defective products. If a company has produced defective products, it is in their best interest to find out and address the issue before their customers find out. If the company find and address the issue first they can limit the amount of lost trust and credibility. By the consumers finding out first it could take the company years or maybe never to repair the damage to their reputation. With new products becoming available for consumers the manufacturers must take the necessary precautions to insure their customer’s safety. How would you effectively present the issue of potentially defective products to the CEO, other directors, and managers? Prior to this meeting I would do an extensive research of the product such as retrieve any complaints from consumers if there were any and analyze them to determine if it was the same issue or random problems. My next step would be get the time frame when the potentially defective product was produced along with the location (s), retrieve all test results regarding the product. Creating a presentation of the information that was gathered in my research would be beneficial. 1.What the specific defect is 2.What caused defect 3.Location of products 4.Reason for failure to comply with regulation Equipped with the Recall Handbook from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPDC) I would present the information in a group setting to the CEO, directors and managers. The type of liability claim should be identified as well whether it is ((defective product design, defective product manufacturing, and failure/negligence to warn of product defect)) (Product Liability, n.d.). When presenting the information to the CEO, directors and managers I would be specific in regards to what the defect is, and plans for a product recall. How would you specifically notify customers of such an occurrence? The removal of defective products from the market is the responsibility of the company. A designated recall coordinator should be appointed. This person has the responsibility to recall products that may be deemed defective or unsafe. The obligations and responsibilities of a company that has a potentially defective product have been set forth by the CPSC. If it is determined the product needs to be recalled I would follow the guidelines pursuant to the Consumer Protection Safety Act (CPSA) pursuant to Section 15(b). which is The Fast Track Product Recall Program (Recall Handbook, 1998). This section is for companies that discover they have a defective product and pro-actively initiate a remedy. With the help of the CPSC I would What kind of internal actions would you take to prevent future problems? I believe that preventing future problems and defects is the responsibility of the quality control department. Insure quality control is follows the processes and guidelines of the department. Make sure that there are in-process inspections as well as final inspections. Overhaul the process of how you inspection. Review your sampling plan, and insure that the sampling plan that is in place is the right one for the product and your business. To insure a good product I would setup process capability studies (CpK) to insure the product meets design specifications. Quality control is a key factor in preventing low standards and defective products. What can be done to ensure that a strong sense of business ethics permeates your company? You need just to check the news to see the how ethics can affect the business world. Examples are Johnson & Johnson, Dow Corning (DC) and many other business have come to the brink of ruin because they lacked the business ethics to put public safety in fro nt of their self interest and those of their companies. The focus of a company is dictated by the ethical principles the company adopt. These principles should permeate the company and affect the decisions the company makes (Nixon, 2009). Senior management set the ethical principles and culture of a business. Insure your business senior officers believe in business sustainability, not because of lower cost but because it is the virtuous thing to do. Senior officers should implement their principles and ethics consistently throughout the company which will make their organization true to principles and authentic while making the organization transparent.
